110 Grill surround advice

Im am getting the 110 ready for paint. I took off the from grill surround and found that it is fiberglass. Is this typical? On my 90s its metal. Does any one have a deep metal one for A/C? Know of a good source?
thanks

Genuine is always fiberglass. What are the cut outs? Get a new genuine one. They now have vents in the bottom. Good if you went auto and have the cooler.

Are you sure on your 90 it's metal? I thought it was fiberglass on that too.

Flush were all aluminium, the A/C "pushed out" ones are fiberglass/plastic

Td5 onwards have the grilles in the bottom to help cooling.

Well shit. Anybody got one they want to sell. One with the a/c cooler vent would be perfect.

This will not help much, but next time I pull the bumper and grill I will snap a pic. It looks like thin metal with a grate behind the plastic grill. I don't know if it is part of the Saudi Spec, or aftermarket.

The grate makes sense. The metal part doesn't. Hard to tell it isn't the fiberglass one in the pic.

My canadian NAS 110 has the metal grate like in your picture. I assuming the US NAS 110 had it too.

All nas 110s have the grate. I am more curious to see a metal pushed out grill.
