110 Crew Cabs

Are there any available here in the states? I've seen a few on the left coast (via magazine or online) and know of one Tomb Raider edition near my work place. If not available, what year did they begin production in this configuration? This way I can figure out how much longer I'd have to wait before I can legally import on. I'll be a primarily a trail rig so I guess it can be imported and registered as an agricultural vehicle...right?

I'm lookin to have something I can wheel, and eventually travel with...an overland vehicle.

Any help on the matter would be GREATLY appreciated!

Follow-up Post:

I'm sorry for the tease...for those of you itching to see the 110 TR...here it is......

I believe the 110 CrewCab came first in production in 2000, as for imports, I cannot help you on the imports question (being in Canada...) but they are hard to come by in the UK so imagine here ... Mine is a 1984 ??? Go figure !

Best bet would probably be a NAS 110 retrofited with a imported crewcab tub.

Good Luck !

Pat

Thank you VERY much for that tid bit Retro...I had forgotten how relatively easy swapping body parts are on Defenders! I recently aborted a chop on my Disco, worried about what the outcome would be...but stuff that bolts right up?...can't go wrong with that!

Waiting until 2025 to import one is crazy. I built my own. Just realize that it will take a lot of time and money. But you get what you want that way - engine, color, etc.

And while you are at it, might as well put a galvanized chassi under.
