110 ac?

does anyone have pics of the ac/heater combo unit that came on 110's? Real photos not just the exploded view in the parts manual?

Any understanding of how it works and if it can be adapted to a 90 and still use the front vents?

thanks

Cliff,
I have one off of the truck and could snap some pics. Would need to pull from the attic so it might be a day or two. Are you in a hurry?

If you are talking about a 93 NAS I think those are NLA. It will be hard and expensive to find the parts. All of the 93's did not have the vents as the A/c was routed in the center section.

From what I can see it was also used or something similar in other ROW trucks.
I know Id have to customize it, but prefer the ability to recirculate the heat and have the a/c under the bonnet if possible

You should call ECR and see if they have one laying around. With all the 93 110s they do and change out the bulkhead and dash I be they have a few.

You can also check Ebay UK. Michael Bax in Holland had a complete kit a while back but sold it, but you could check with him.

I may or may not know where a few of the NAS 110 AC systems are ....

Anyway, you can't use them with the opening vents (you could of course bolt the vents closed) and there is no reason I see that it would not work in a 90.

Keep in mind the entire lower (and most of the upper except the cap) dash is different in a NAS 110 system. It is perhaps the most complicated thing not involving blend door motors ever devised. It runs off vacuum with little actuators etc. Really complex compared to the NAS D90 AC systems.
