Question 110 #234

Does anyone know any of the previous owners or history about my 110? It was originally in N. Cal before it had an engine fire and was salvaged. It's like family now and I want to know more about it's origin.

I am like that with ny 90 and my little 356 Porsche. I want every record I can find on them. Like you said, they are family and God willing will be my 3 yr old son's one day.

Yep. Took several tries to get them to respond and update it. I love my 110 so much, I couldn't bear the world to still think she was a burned out hulk rusting away in some yard.

Still haven't figured out yet if I'm going to be buried in my 110 yet or pass it on to my kids, but I can tell you one thing, they can have my 110 when they can peel my cold, dead fingers from the steering wheel with a crowbar. There isn't another vehicle on the planet i would rather drive.

I had a similar experience as Andrew (positive) when I purchased my D90 earlier this year. They emailed me within a day and it was updated almost immediately. I don't recall the persons name but I could probably dig up the old email if that would help.

Yes, it is Ben Smith. I don't know if this is the same email you are using for Ben or not? I corresponded with him at the end of May this year at this address.

Well, if you have any doubt about its color just check the door jam stickers etc and match the paint code but that site is not always right. I noticed a discrepancy between the VIN and Production # of my buddy's 110 and let them know. He said that his list came from something from Rover I believe and that he already knew occasionally LR didn't put the plaque they had orig. intended to on the right VIN. He fixed it promptly but I would match your VIN and #plaque both before you get concerned. If you have time, Email Ben and let him know...the more we correct the better the list becomes and it is a nice resource for us all!
