Just out of curiosity, Do D2 or D1 cases have cross drilled input gear?

Thanks for the information. Not trying to bring this back from the dead but thought I'd rather recycle a thread than start a new one.

If I pick up LT230 from disco2 with CDL nipple, it should mate up right? Is there a disadvantage to disco cases? Other than weaker gearing?

NAS 90's have 1.2 tcases. Same tcase,same gearing. Transfer cases are the same except for some drillings for parking brake mounts and electronic interlock's on dicoveries.

ditto. i have a D2 in mine. remove solenoid, drill/tap for parking brake and install.
