Kansas City Food

Interested in your recommendations.

Looking for something with excellent and fresh food, good cocktails, and good for kids.

We ended up at a place called Char Bar. We went to Q39 but the wait was at least an hour and half so we found this place instead. It ended up being exactly what we wanted. A+ would recommend.

Mmmmmm Joes. I made sure to hit that up on my trip there last year but I really liked Arthur Bryant's a bit more

Ooh, Jack Stack. I usually went to the 95th & Metcalf location, but you can't go wrong at any of them.

Joes, Jack Stack downtown or on the plaza, Arthur Bryants, Gates.

Stay a week and hit them all.

I am partial to Jack Stacks on the plaza myself.

Throw in some Boulevard Wheat Beer and all is good.

Another vote for Joe's. Wouldn't dream of making a trip to KC without getting a Z-Man.

This was going to be my recommendation, great place. I also recommend KC BIER over on the east side it's a German style biergarten

We always go to this family style restaurant called Stouds. Country Fried Steak that is fallin off the edges of the plate. Share the sides, place is redonculous! One in North KC and another out in Olatha I think now.

I went to stroud's by myself. That's a lot of food for one person.

I went to Jack Stack for the first time over the weekend. It's pretty awesome. The cheesy corn or whatever it's called was an interesting change from typical BBQ food sides. The carrot cake was great.

I still haven't made it to Joe's. It must be something special because the line at the gas station is always crazy when I try to go.

Some of my co-workers like Gates, so I've been there a few times. It's good.

I'm not a fan of Arthur Bryant.
