I might have to come back out there just to take you up on your offer...in fact I might be out for Mendo in the spring. Might be a good time for a pitcher.

Sounds good! I gotta do that (Mendo) one of these years, at least before my house sells and I head north. I'm down here right now with a sign in my yard hoping the PGA Fry's Open will bring a buyer! ;-)

Anyone know any wine-oholics with a golf fetish and deep pockets?

I wish...these things are not available around here. My neighbor had a few from CA that he flew back with recently and was willing to share one .

The other kicker, I realized this summer up in NY the local "market" (small place) had Heady Topper literally stacked on the top shelf...I should have hoarded some apparently.

Just shared the last of the Pliny with friends this weekend. Mmm, Heady, my other favorite beer. Anyone headed west? Request RURR on Heady if so. Anyone coming to the WNLRR?

It surprised me at the brewery when you could get a case per person and a full growler if you liked. Really expected to encounter the same rules of one per person per day. It was a good surprise. And yes it is still good. A friend of mine had it for the first time this weekend, he wished I had more.

Pliny is an excellent beer. I've had it a few times out in CO. Falling Rock had it on tap both times I was there.

Wicked Weed's Freak of Nature is a great beer. They just started bottling it. Only avail in NC and Atlanta from my knowledge.

Overrated because of all the hype and the fact that it can only be bought in VT.

I still want some though!!!! Can't get Pliny either.

Oh well I have two cases of Paix Dieu in the garage (ok fine they belong to Robert Davis). All except this one - in fine Belgium style with Pâté and Brie.

My lips are smacking just looking at the picture of, well not because of the Pâté and Brie!

Early birthday wishes Jonsey.
