Any chance of getting Firestone Pale Ale? It's out in Cali, so I wasn't sure.

We get that here in Colorado. I just had a fantastic barley wine last weekend: Alaskan's. Highly recommended.

I'd love some Firestone. I can cover Shiner Bock if anyone is looking for Shiner.

Firestone is at the supermarket over here. Plenty to choose from. I picked this batch up AND they were on sale. Velvet Merlin is one of my Firestone favs. What's good from Rahr (frat bro of mine from TCU)? Would love to swap.

I'm enjoying a keg of Big Daddy IPA from Speakeasy Brewing from SF. Up in Truckee for the next few days playing in the snow with some of my employees. It's snowing, soon to be in the hot tub with a nice pint of beer. Woohoo.

I've not had any of the Rahr brews to be honest. It's all over the place around here. I also like Abita which is from Louisiana. The Turbo Dog is pretty good. Let me know if you want to swap for some Firestone.

If you come across any of these Rahr seasonal grab a six pack: Iron Thistle, Gravel Road or Winter Warmer. I will keep an eye out for some good Firestone. Speaking of Firestone, look what we have coming up around the corner from Joe P's home....

Dogfish Head came out with one not too long ago called Tweason'ale ... I haven't had it yet, but I've heard from some people that on normal beer scale its in the middle, but on the gluten-free scale its on the top.

Not beer, but a friend's husband is gluten intolerant and drinks Magners Cider. 4.5% alcohol

when I lived in San Diego, the aussie pub in PB was a block away with the coldest Tooheys, but alas no Schooners.

And ditto, stoked you've got the blog so I can follow along in webland!

From the gluten intolerant friend:

"Red Bridge is the most common and accessible - Anheuser Busch product. Estrella Daura is great as well - it's Spanish. New Planet's Tread Lightly is my favorite. It's an up and coming gluten free beer. Also Dogfish Head has a Tweason Ale that's gluten free, but I haven't tried it yet."

My fiance is gluten free, which pretty much makes me gluten free. The beer I've tried is SO bad that I couldn't finish a bottle. I tried the Tweason but it was pretty tough. I guess ciders are all gluten free.

What's the pizza place? Mellow Mushroom has one that's gluten free and my fiance wouldn't even eat it! I had to choke it down to keep from wasting food and money. ugh.
