Just picked up a torpedo keg (5 Gallons) of Founders Breakfast Stout. Should be able to enjoy this until Terrapin's Wake-n-Bake Stout comes out in kegs in late November.

Just tapped a 5 gal keg of sierra nevada's estate ale! It's certified organic and all the barley and hops are grown on site at the brewery. Its delicious.

I should be getting my kegs from beer camp in the next week or so too.

Cheers,

Daniel

In the kegerator right now is Ballast Point Yellowtail... We have Ballast Point, Stone, and Alesmith within a few miles. San Diego now has 37 breweries in the metro area, more than any other city in the US!

It's been a few years since I've been back to SD (used to live in OB). Where is Ballast Point Brewery? I did my scuba training at Ballast Point. You can't beat the Arrogant Bastard!

Ballast Point is off of Pomerado, what Miramar Rd turns into on the east side of the 15. Alesmith and Green Flash are on Miramar itself.

Here's a good list.... http://www.sandiegobrewersguild.org/breweries/

Plus, we can see what's at Ballast Point live here... http://www.ballastpoint.com/whats-on-tap-old-grove/

Ok, I know where that is. Odd, considering that ballast point is by the subbase. We used to hit Pizza Port quite a bit.

Cool. Can you get me some of this? For some reason, my usual haunts here have stopped carrying it.

Awesome! Don't know what the deal is with this beer in Colorado, but I can't get it anymore.

Seems like I was getting a 4 pk for about $11.50. How much per case? Delivery to 80132.

Agreed. Its $9.80 a bottle @ the local Food Lion grocery chain here. Where my farm is located is a very rural area and the kiosk of tripels, IPA's and stouts @ that store makes it seem a bit more civilized.

What a difference a year makes... San Diego now has over 50 breweries (not counting the multiple Pizza Ports and Oggi's)! Just within a 15 minute drive I can be at the breweries of Ballast Point, Manzanita, AleSmith, Green Flash, Societe, Rough Draft, Hess, Alpine, and Helm's.

But the Kegerator still has Ballast Point in it... but now it's Calico Amber Ale to go with the frigid (~60 degree) winter and rain.
