Stainless door run channel

I am looking at a few different ways to go on the sliding glass. The most promising is this stuff which seems to fit the bill in all regards.
Has anyone tried a similar product? What could possibly be wrong with this, other than it doesn't look like the OE run channel, which to my mind is a waste of money.

I think that wise owl sells something that is a step up and perhaps the stuff that the guys are using to replace the channels in the defender windows?

I gave up on those guys a decade and a half ago. To Jerry Garcia for me.

I bought these a while back from Rocky Mtn when I got my door tops. Can't remember if I was from Wise Owl or eBay it's been too long.

The rubber channel is the same stuff used in the Rocky Mtn door tops which IMHO are excellent.

Are you talking about the window felt replacement?

The Garrison Outfitters ones are all over this board - tons of us have switched over to them and there are many threads dedicated to their review(s). Just about all positive reviews.

Bill, just make sure you confirm the actual thickness of your glass before you order and that the width of the channel outside dimensions are close enough that they will fit all they places they need to fit. Even JC Whitney has some options that look promising compared to the factory crap. And yes, totally different than the D90 stuff.
