Series Roll Cage

I want to fit an external roll cage to series 3 88". I'm thinking about using the front A bar from a defender and fabricating the rest myself. Thoughts?

Anybody have or know where I can get the A bar and the peices that connect down to chassis? How much do they cost? Any condition will do. If too expensive I'll have to start from scratch. Thx.

$$$$$

Also, the A bar will look odd because of the difference in the windscreen between a series and a defender.

I would start from scratch. The Defender cage is less than rad anyway.

Made it further than half of the other guys, but the Hammers won.

Here's one idea for ya.
We did it this way to better match the straight lines of the SIIA windscreen but still keep a Defenderish look.

I do not check PMs. Call or email if you need something.

ECR is not a parts source. We are not in the mail order business.

That is one nice 88". I love the mixture of old and new. When I make the real big bucks, ECR hear I come

Oh... I forgot to ask... any suggestions on acceptable tubing to use (diameter, wall thickness)?

Hopefully you will know when that windfall is coming a few years in advance. That way you can get on their waiting list in time to collect as soon as you hit the jackpot...

Hey,

What I meant by "not that rad" was the way it was made, not the looks. If you like the looks, go right ahead and copy it. As to tubing, it depends on what your after. You can get away with 1.5in .120 wall but I am a big fan of 1.75 .120 for main beams. But it may look funny on a small rig. Use DOM or better.
