Second row doors
Doing a little metal work, and im seeing the metal saddle that the window track sits in is pretty shot (bottom). I can easily cut it out, bend up a new piece, drop it in and weld it in place. My question is for the two drains that are on the underside, and then stick through the outside of the skin with a little tube.
Do those things even do anything? There are two large holes in the middle of that saddle for the window locks. Whats to say the water doesnt just go down them instead? is it worth trying to salvage them or make new ones and transfer over to the new saddle im making?
When people repair this do they normally keep those or just get rid of them?
