Roam off-road axleshafts

Hey guys I'm trying to pull some roam offroad axle shafts out of a parts truck. From what I remember, once you pull the drive flange the stock shafts should just slide right out. Not working that way with these Roam shafts. Do they have spring clips on the inside end or what? What am it missing?

Fronts or rears? I have had spline wear lock the axles to the diffs. Wiggling them back and forth got them out.

Sorry Ron, rear shaft. There is no play in and out. I did grab the end with a vise grip on a towel and smacked it with a hammer to no effect. Can't tell if they are drilled to use a slide hammer.
