Stella

Here is a picture of Stella - a 1970 SIIA we bought when we lived in England in the last 90s. Drove it all over the Cotswolds and Wales, and RORO'ed it back when we returned to the States. Bought it off a guy who used to build dry stone fences in in the Yorkshire Dales, so had to replace the rear floor, but otherwise just drive it.

Here they are. Not sure how you could remake it as it is quite complicated.

I would part with mine, but I was looking for it for 10 years and need it. I should have bought two (almost did but George talked me out of it).

Ron

edit: Good for you. I did not see your post before I loaded them. For future reference anyway ....

'58 109 Pickup

Here are pictures of my 1958 109 pick up, The first is just before we loaded it on the trailer, the second is on the way home. This was in Portland, OR last December 29th as a suprise snow storm hit. The 109 spent it's first night in my possesion parked along side Burnside St.

Here's some various ones. The MAR pic should look familiar to Doug.

'74 SIII that is currently in need of a rear main seal and new clutch. Newborns and Rover repair don't mix well.

I've had a Corgi Land Rover 109 like this since I was about 6 years old.

When I first saw this I tried to ignor it, but two weeks later it was mine. Now the fun begins... it will be cool when it's back on the road.

I have some SI motor parts if you get in a bind. For example, I have an uncracked head and basically everything on the motor other than the block.

I'm sure you've all seen her

This is Cecilia, my RHD '66 Series IIA. She was imported by the PO in '91 and not much was done to her until I bought her in 2002. The frame was shot, so I had it replaced, new paint, D90 roll cage, non-stock wheels.

I think that may be the first time I've ever seen a D90 cage on a series truck. Nice job, heck I'd be happy to just have a hoop bar in my series trucks. Anyone know where I can get one? lol

That is the perfect looking Series IMO.

Did you have to modify the chassis crossmember for the parabolics and military shackles?
