Opinions on this '67

I am going to go look at this truck. I know ZIPPO about the old ones. Any tips you have to offer are really appreciated. Including what you think it's worth.

2.25 gas engine, overdrive, and 16 inch wheels.

You need to look for the same things you already know on the D's.

Floor boards, doors, bulkhead, outriggers, cross-member, etc.

The lenses look to be original and has straight body.

The rear cross-member "looks" galvanized... Maybe it's my crappy phone.

As for pricing... That's though, at least for me. I've seen POS sell for a lot and good truck sell for cheap.

Hmmmm pretty clean looking. But the pix are at least 7 months old. Like someone said. Snow.

I have bought and sold a few of these lately. Expect a smoking deal for making money on eBay resale to be between 3-5K. A knowing buyer will want 10K plus as that is what decent ones are selling for. If you are VERY lucky with finding an uneducated distressed seller you may nab it for less than 3K.

Good luck and if you need any assistance checking it out let me know. I can also help with towing on a flatbed for gas money. I have to use my beast for something!!!!

Looks nice but can't help with the value. It's worth what you are willing to pay (or possibly more if it's not what they think )

Thanks for the notes, gents!

Seller wants $8867 for it. Why 8867 instead of 8800 or 8900 I wonder?

What I really want is a diesel 110 but I love these old Rovers. They're like a pair of blue jeans you've worn for years. I would never paint it!

I think that would be a pretty good deal if it has a galvy chassis and is in good shape in general.

Damnit, man...

I was hoping you would tell me it was ALL wrong, that was too much money, and that driving would make babies cry. Now I gotta go look at it.

Out! Out! Ye demons of temptation!

I'm still at work, gotta visit my Sis in the hospital tonight, and it's my anniversary tomorrow.

But Saturday? When the wife is at work? It's on like Donkey Kong!

It looks really good in the pics. There are a few deficiencies here and there, but nothing that would prevent me from making a cash offer. That's easily a truck that could be made to sell for big dough if that's what you want to do. As a driver it looks like it wouldn't need very much.
Even though it has Station Wagon badging, it doesn't appear to have been a SW originally. Big give away being the hood tie points on the tub side which SWs did not have, and tailgate mounts on the rear cross member. Could be a later tub, who knows. Also a SW will have a full headliner, complete set of trim panels inside, side bolsters on the roof, lined footwells, Tunnel cover, folding bench seats in the back, a rear step, load space mat, deluxe dished bonnet with spare, Smith's heater and defrost vents, sliding side windows, full rear door with grab handle and remote latch release, um...what else...
It does have the SW roof and sunsheet, so again, it may be a mashup. The spare carrier on the rear door appears to be mounted too low. SW did not have that as OE as the spare was bonnet mounted.
