This is definitely in line with the known US bugeye serial#'s//
Here's what I come up with..

24436228F--Derrek, SoCal, Bronze green. Was listed eBay 09-02-05 Florida


this serial # is on your bulkhead I'm assuming? Is there a # on the outside of your passenger side front frame horn? above the front spring shackle..

Well here is where the story gets interesting. She is a coiler with a designa chassis frame swap.

How long have you had that 109? It looks like this one a guy was selling on a coil spring chassis and range rover classic axles. He took a 88 bug eye and made a 109 out of it. Could be a different car but it sure looks exactly like it and your axles appear to be wider than leafs.
