Badges - Birmingham vs Solihull

My series has Solihull Warwickshire badges front and rear. By brother-in-law just gave me another to replace my front badge...but it is a Birmingham badge. Understand the Birmingham badges were replaced by the Solihull badges in the 1960's. At least according to the internet.

Is this Birmingham badge significant enough in any way for me to worry about it getting pinched off the front of my truck?

Any Rover purist would have an aneurysm crawling through my truck anyway so I am not worried about what the concourse judges would say about the mismatched badges. I just think the Birmingham badge is cool.

I don't think anyone will nick it per se (since most folks don't know the difference anyhow, and if someone does know about the Birmingham badge they'd hopefully be classy enough to leave and and not lift it off your truck). They are pretty hard to find, so be happy with that score from your brother-in-law!

My '55 has a Birmingham badge on it. I could use a spare when this one rattles off

The Birmingham badges were used on the various Series I vehicles and on some Series II (not A) trucks. My 1960 has a pair of them on it and no one has tried to snatch them.
