I'm looking for some sliders for my 109, but have yet to find anyone that has them for sale. Do you guys know if a 110 slider would fit, or require modification to fit?? OR even better... anyone know where I can get a set for a 109!?!? ('62 3door)
Ike sliders are top notch, much like his bumpers. But unlike his bumpers he's no longer making his sliders. I heard a rumor that he might start up again, but that was a few years ago now...
For what it's worth, you could buy the 110 sliders and modify them but I believe it would be a significant amount of work. Enough work that you'd probably be better off building your own for a 109 from scratch.
We still make sliders, bumpers, hitches, stainless fuel tanks and many other parts. They are listed at our website (pangolin4x4.com). The 109 version we have mostly been building on project vehicles due to aligning ll of the mounting points. Colby (at tin shack) has purchased a few sets from us for his (very nice!) builds. He asked if he could try his hand at making a copy of our sliders for one of his builds and of course we said yes. Hope that clears everything up.
