109 market

What condition would a 109 need to be in the fetch $25k? there is a person that wants to by my 90SW but thinks they need $25K for their 109 befoer they can pull the trigger. I just don't know the 109 market at all so I'm courious whether I should keep my hopes up that this will happen. I'll get some pics in the meantime to help tell the story and make a prediction.

I sold my frame off restored 109 pickup for about half that so it all depends on finding a person willing to pay what they want.

Apparently there are a lot of people on here that are willing to spend alot more than that on a 109.

A galvy frame 109 SW will fetch 25k (or more). Short of a full resto, no way.

I believe they can go for that but would need to be really special. It never ceases to amaze me what people ask for their crappy series rig, but then you see people paying crazy money so ...

I search craigslist more than is appropriate and 25k is way above average for a 109 in my opinion, but then a freshly "restored" rig, or super clean running grandpa cared for no rust cream puff, or one highly modified and done well might easily fetch that kind of money. If your buyer has one of these 109's he might be totally realistic, but if he's got one like the rest of us then I'd say he's dreaming.

Good luck with your sale.

Daniel
