"There is a LOW BUY IT NOW PRICE" - did anyone see the low BIN price? I only saw a HIGH one.

That quite a bit of cheddar for a wrecked 90 with what appears to have a bent frame.

Salvage title + 138k miles + damage = $10k, max. That dude is on crack.

You forgot to add Rusty too. I agree 10K would be tops for it. Otherwise you would never get your money out of it.

Additional pictures of the truck found, maybe outdated.

It sold last week at the IAA sale in Syracuse NY, but I don't know how much for.

I'd hope it sold for less than that, or else this guy is worse at business than that Wheeler Dealers guy. Transport from Syracuse, NY to Kissimmee, FL is around 1,300 miles, which wouldn't be cheap to transport. At that BIN they'd barely be breaking even if there are auction fees on top of the $11,100.

Oh there are fees alright but IAA does not publish them...

Plus public buyer fees total would be $12,795
Non-public $11,495

if it was bought on an online bid (likely) add $59

plus shipping from NY to FL

So the guy may "only" have $13-14.5K in it

I was considering this truck, but they pulled it from the sale the first time it was supposed to run, and then when it was rescheduled it was instantly pre-bid to $5,000. Plus there is an unwritten rule here that we don't buy any parts trucks from north of Maryland or PA outside of VERY special circumstances...

I was watching it on the salvage site and stopped watching it when it got over 8K. It still would make a good donor for a complete rebuild if you wanted a nice 110 or something. It would be a shame, however, to loose another NAS90.

Oh yeah its perfect for a total restoration, new galv. chassis, etc. I was happy to see a salvaged one that wasn't burnt for once.

A little lower at $12k Buy It Now this time around.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1995-...item3a78235fdb

You are bidding on a 1995 Land Rover Defender. It sustained damage on the front right corner of the vehicle, and several photographs have been provided so you can see the extent of the damage.

- 3.9L V8 Runs and Drives.
- 5 Speed Manual Transmission shifts as it should.

We can arrange shipping anywhere in the country at the Buyers Expense. This vehicle would be a great base for a project defender, or an SVX conversion.

This Land Rover has a New York Salvage Certificate and is sold AS-IS. It is currently not registered. The buyer will have to register it in his state of residence, which may or may not involve some extra steps compared to registering a clean title car. Florida Buyer must pay sales tax and will receive an Acquisition Bill Of Sale. All buyers who plan to pick up the car in person ( NOT by car hauler) must pay tax. There is a LOW BUY IT NOW PRICE set on this auction so take advantage of owning this 1995 Land Rover Defender at a fraction of the cost!

For More information, please call Ben on (321) 402 6269.

Considering I bought a 95 without a salvage title for $16k just last month.....that pricing is insane.

Damn... how much does ECR charge for a Galvy frame swap with a 4.6 rebuild?

By the time you had it back together without any rust - or tears - or the stuff we can't see - you could have a well-cared-for '95 with a clean title. And then some...
