From the dust underneath its spent some time sitting in a body shop. And something is off with those bumpers... wtf? Those aren't the correct euro bumpers are they? I don't like the fact someone has tried to make it look like an earlier model, with those doors, hidden door hinges, front wing reflectors, etc it just looks STRANGE to have those emblems, the vertical grille, and rostyles. Mud flaps are ripped off. Missing battery hold down.

This truck was on Bring-a-Trailers daily email this morning. My guess is that is driving the bidding.

BAT says that the same seller just sold the blue one previously.

Like I said there...still with the black coolant expansion tank?

You guys are the major decoders...I hope that I can decode a LR the way you guys can/do, All time and experience I reckon...when I look at something like that I say to myself ....that's purty. It maybe, but I cant wait until I see it for what someone has done to it and deconstruct it in my mind, even though it's still purty...lol.

IMHO it is a $3000 truck with fresh paint and about $1000 worth of backdated trim and wheels.

And who puts dayton tires on a $20k truck?

I don't know, I kinda like a lot because of all of the stuff from the 70's. To make it truly retro, put a set of Strombergs and a 4 spd manual or better yet, an Edelbrock and a 5 speed, then I'd probably go for it!
