which car you talking about? Respect for a dealer that lists his sold prices.

109 I believe just arrived. Their prices are as amazing as the original vehicle condition. Puts others IMO being offered to shame.

I've talked to Bill on the phone a couple of times and he seems like a straight shooter with a solid business.

Zack get lots of calls from people who think they got a great deal on a rust free defender from Spain ... Who actually find they've bought the red headed stepchild of the Land Rover world.

I don't think they have particular problems but for me they have looks only a parent could love.

A few people round here have a red head fetish ... A few have even married one. Happy yours is working out.

Funny

Those cars in Argentina were and still are with the Fiat 600 the poor man's car

They can be had for a tango

Even with shipping nowhere near half that price

I still own my 1977 Citroen Mehari down there, and while cute and fun, not a vehicle for today's highway standards( not sure it was back in 1980 either when I bought it )

But indeed a great toy for a beach property

Actually it gets much better from 1988+, when the body is 90% Defender and the frame/chassis/suspension is Series. But yes, definitely still "confusing" and no real guidebook to what is what.

Nothing wrong with a poor man's car, especially a poor mans Ferrari .

Of course not
Back then, I had my stand up jet ski ( 440 ) in the back of the Mehari and a windsurfer on top 9 months out of the year, and hardly ever had a canvas on it
My mum's face was priceless when I pulled into the garden and her friends were having tea :-)
