White 95 SW on Autotrader

Can I get some thoughts on this 95 SW? I know that white SW's are highly desirable, but this one has 100k miles so I'd like to hear some thoughts on a fair price.

Does anyone know the truck? It is located in Chestertown, MD.

Also, if I didn't want the rack, is it a big deal to fill the wholes in the rear (probably just keep the screws), and what is a fair price for the rack?

Thanks!

It may have 105k miles, but the current owner bought it in 2007 with 55k miles, so he's driven it 50k miles since then in 5 years - which probably/hopefully means that it's benn fairly well maintained during that period of time, to be able to drive it ~10k miles a year.

Condition is more important than mileage. Many trucks will be over 100k now and like josh says ... You know where 50k of them happened.

Assuming the bulkhead and chassis are in good shape I would say it looks like its priced about right. Or at least after a typical negotiation.

i would not get too hung up on number of owners.... defenders are usually the 2nd, 3rd, 4th vehicle for some people so they go in and out quickly. [like watches] today you like them, then you get board, then you like another one.

Yeah don't get hung up on number of owners especially when they're nearing 20 years old! The calculated number of owners sometimes doesn't take into account people who move, right?

The number of owners is only a concern as it relates to wives and girlfriends.

Good point! Any rationale for why the 95 SW on ebay can't seem to get to the 28k mark? I mean without looking at it I know it's hard to say but I find it interesting...

No one thinks it's worth $28k who has bid on it so far.

Good ... The less people aware of the extreme desirability of these trucks will keep the prices modest for stylish connoisseurs like myself.
