Ah I would have never guessed that one. Hard top, no roll cage. I'm looking for the US spec defender swing away that fits at the rear corner of the body and the tailgate.

I currently have a hi-lift in the way, but it can be moved. It just occurred to me, do you think my right tail light might be in the way of the D90 top swing away mount?

the NAS type carriers are for side swing tailgates/doors. They stay attached to the door or tailgate and aren't "swing away" types that will work with your drop down tailgate-ie they dont have a latch like jeep type carriers. Matt @ Rockware makes one that bolts to the cross member and is a true swing out. Don't think a stock NAS s/t one will work unless you were planning on changing over to a side swing tailgate. The station wagons just used the same thing the series did which was the on door mounting plate.
