Turn it right side up and you'll notice they are Matchbox, not Hot Wheels.

"Hot Wheels" sounds like he stole them!

Well, I just clicked the thread because I've never seen a Hot Wheels Defender and was interested. I've got 7 or 8 of that particular Matchbox though.

Yes, I'm nuts.

Google "hot wheels 610" or "hot wheels land rover mk2" Smith Electric 110 regular.

It's interesting that the body is the same, but the paint is all over the place. Some of them have details like the headlamps and tail lamps painted, and others are just painted all one color and have color matched plastic parts (wheels, rack, etc) with no decals. There are ones that came with multiple sets that have this kind of treatment but many of the singles have the detailing. I have about ten or so different variants of the Matchbox 110 and oodles of the Matchbox 90. Every time I go to Wal Mart I check them out. At $.98 each it's pretty cheap thrills.

Huh. Interesting. Never seen it, but I gave up looking at Hot Wheels for Series of Defenders probably 20 years ago.

Yeah, I meant that particular one though. I'm not even going to say how many examples of each variation I have.

Alex, you may want to try eBay... We all have multiples of these. I get them for my kids every time I go to Target or WalMart.

Buying yours would save me $200 in groceries at WalMart... :-)

And you probably thought we were all super smart savants, which is the farthest from the truth.
