This reminds me of when George bought Jon Voight's LeBaron

The Daytona was a fake; fiberglass body on a Corvette chassis. They had nice boats though.

Probably just rounded up. Really, how much difference does 0.1 L matter?

I saw one of them at an auction I was at in NC.
It was one of the clone Daytona cars from the show, but was fully rebuilt as a pro-street thing. It looked really stupid.

McBurnie was the kit maker of those cars if I recall.

To me, a '94 listed anywhere else with a 4.0 would speak to the credibility/knowledge of the seller. That particular auction looks like it's full of trash anyway, but I'd expect Barrett Jackson to get the info correct (and not make up a gay color).

I saw that last night and about fell in the floor. I guess the 90 market is not as bad as everyone thinks after all.

Actual selling price was $50K, the number in the link includes the 10% buyer's commission, paid on top of the sale price..

There is some element of the price that comes from the 'Don Johnson' owend this. Its an interesting phenomenon, but I doubt my Defender would have brought as much, even though its a year newer!

Could be a world record price for a 94. No A/C to boot.

I saw Don Johnson a couple months ago leaving his agency. We were both getting into our cars. I was in my 109.... He now drives a Prius. He said "nice truck".....i couldnt say much about his ride so simply said "thanks"

Don's Defender was just on Barrett Jackson...Don't know if anyone saw it on TV before this weekend, but I just watched the bidding on it. They called it the "appreciating sport utility."
