What Pedro didn't say is it was/is owned by the owner of one of Nthn Virginia's largest dealerships (incl Land Rover)...and ECR had a hand in "customizing" it. To ea their own right.

Maybe for an extra $50.00 they could round it to an even $40,000 and throw in a set of proper rear springs to boot!

I have neve seen RRC 3-spokes on a Defender. It actually doesn't look that bad IMO.

The Queens' Defenders are not Aston Martin green. They're Balmoral Green named after her castle.

REALLY? - I have never heard of that paint color before? My 95 RR Classic LWB (which was identical to hers , minus BP glass, runflats, etc) was British Racing Green. Is this a new one?

I don't know the details of this truck... I cannot speculate.

Regardless... $140k is ridiculous.

This is a $20k truck on a sunny day, with low humidity in the low 70's and the galaxies aligned...

And, Shayne's redhead dream girl selling it.

Even my truck has a matching plenum to the 4.2 - is there a reason why their 4.6 conversions always have the 3.9 or 4.0 plenum?

Headliner is already sagging - that didn't take long!

How is the truck ruined? Non matching plenum? How does it look "just plain retarded"? sagging headliner? I wouldn't $100+K for it, no way, but it's clean and low miles. At least the engine swap was done by someone who knows what's going on.

I knew this truck before it was changed. One of the last 300 tdi LHD 110s.

Lowered, engine changed from 300tdi, interior... guess those are all improvements.

To each their own.

To ask that much, the truck better be PERFECT - the truck was fully customized to the owner's specifications, and it seems that whenever that is done, they expect the next owner to pay for their f-ups. A non-matching plenum is a short-cut, a sagging headliner is ugly, that leather and suede center console is hideous and sticks out like a sore thumb against the backdrop of the dash, the carpeting doesn't match anything, there's what appears to be a Buick Rendezvous rear bench seat installed in the back, and those RRC wheels do nothing for that truck. For the money...yes, that truck needs some work.

Agreed, there are a few things not done right.. totally f'd up registration runaround BS. I wouldnt want a truck like that. Wrong plenum, yeah its an ECR shortcut (probably OK'd by the PO) sagging headliner seems inexcusable in this day and age. And yeah if they're asking that much, it better be perfect and very special (which its not) The price is way off the chart. Nice leather will sway people though!! So will "New car smell"!

but
TDI vs V8 is subjective.

Leather vs vinyl/cloth is subjective.

Wheels looking bad is subjective.

I'm just saying "Ruined" is not the right term. It's a nice truck. It's not to everyone's taste, but some people recognize that they're going to the mall, not the desert and buy accordingly.

I thought ecr uses the 3.9 or 4.0 plenum because it gives the appearance of stock but that is for nas trucks so not sure why it would be used in this case. I do like that it was painted or whatever. Mine is kinda ratty. I wouldn't mind a fresh one.

As for the title it was a rebuild like so many others. No clue why people advertise as what the donor was. Seems dumb. Besides I bet it was a 2006 not a 2004.
