The name of the business can be whatever you want it to be...it has been known as "The Rover Shop" for so long until the cease and desist from land rover corporate lawyers.. Being that you don't buy the business (corporation) and a new corporation has to be formed with the new owner being proprietor and then what ever DBA you want under that..I just used the name prestige to completely disassociate myself from the land rover lawyers being able to come after me..and that it was prestige european when I started there 23 years ago..)..

Looks like google earth has just updated their street views recently..the aerial viw appears to have been taken very early in the morning according to the shadows.. We weren't open yet.. The street view is indicative of an ordinary day... I will admit the business itself owns a couple of the cars in the lot.. But majority are customers cars.. I just bought a new toy so I will be sticking around for a little while I modify it and to transition for whoever wants to buy it..

You can see my original shop on the corner to the left of my current one..oops..sorry.. Just can't..

In this one you can see the old shop.. Right above and as wide as the "842".. Guessing that's the state rd number..??

We just finished a pseudo resto on a white one.. Customer wanted suede headliner and matching door trim inserts, redid the bases of the seats in new leather replicated the original.. Needed to replace the dreaded front heated windscreen which is no longer available and needs to be epoxied in, so I had to recreate the black surround section on the windscreen itself by painting and leaving the space for the vin window...looks passable, will let the insurance company deal with finding the rocking horse shit trim pieces around the window when the glass needs replacing next time..truck came out really presentable..

Where about in Aus are you settling. It certainly produces some challenges.

My wife and I are looking at a similar situation to you but just going from Brisbane to Mt Tambourine, about 70km. Bit hard when you have to shut down what you do and start again.

Best of luck with the sale. If you were on the west cost I'd be trying hard to flog the idea to the wife.

Yeah, it's gonna be hard and been a long time since I have lived in my home town of Newcastle.. Gonna be tough to start a new life from scratch at my age but I consider myself a bit smarter than the average joe and he makes a living so I figure I should be able to as well..I make a pretty bloody good living here so it will require some serious life changes that will be very hard to do..but taking care of my family is the right thing to do so its a no brainer for me.. They say the cost of living is pretty high and the economy is not the best, but ya gots to do wot ya gots to do... Good luck with your move..I loved the mt tambourine area..
