Please don't take this as aggressive,

It's just a saying I grew up with and refers to ANY shinny stuff people stick onto vehicles that make it look out of place. IMHO, Land Rovers are work trucks, farm tractors etc and do not need anything attached to them that requires polishing.

This is where the saying "My Chelsea Tractor" comes from. A farm vehicle in a high end city setting.

Anyway, it's kind of like "I don't give a shit". I don't think the reader thinks their is shit involved

I just think it funny. Pimp the shit out of it. Why care? What makes so many think that it needs to be their version of "good looking" to be ok.

I don't care personally. What I find funny is, most that posted about it in utter horror must be blind. Remove the wheels,...and that is a pretty clean truck with decent miles. Everything on that truck can be reversed quickly.

Josh,.. that sub is not nearly as bad as some I've seen.

No doubt you can remove all that stuff. If you can rebuild a D90 that caught fire or was a total loss, you can obviously pull someone's bad taste off. Now, I'm not so sure I'd want to do it for almost $60k. And yes, before someone chimes in all high and mighty, that's my opinion!

Incidentally, before I bough my 90, I drove a 95 st that had a pretty high end/expensive stereo system. I ended up passing on the truck as I felt the owner was trying to recoup some of his investment in the stereo. I passed because I didn't see the point of a "thumping" system, but hey different strokes for different folks.

Posted for entertainment value, I'm sure someone will hit on that listing and see gold!

It's not my cup of tea, however, put the alloys back, a OME setup, and replace the grill and headlight surrounds and you have a nice clean low miles d-90. I think we've all seen worse.

What's worse - a 90 built with every accesory from EE and Atlantic British like a lift, MT's and winch that doesn't see a foot of trail or this that actually might drive pretty well on the road and go down the highway at 80 without feeling like you are on a fishing boat? I didn't see any underneath shots but it is one of the cleanest 90's I've seen for sale in a while. Like others have said, swap back to NAS wheels and people would be sweating it.

I'm sure people will but me on their ignore list, but I would be love seeing a 90 lowered 5", late model RR wheels, 4.6 with a supercharger connected to a R380. Bigger sways, stiffer shocks and springs. Bring it to a race track and see what the brick can do.

There was an LRO article about doing exactly that, it was about 5 souped up Defenders on a track day.

Nothing a can of black spray paint, $50 worth of used trim and some wheels and tires wont fix.

But only on the drivers side. The passenger side is still those hideous rims.

CONS: The truck looks like crap with that size wheel.
$60k? REALLY! Sell it for $62k and match that F'ing 5th wheel!

PROS: I am kindof a fan of the steering wheel. Anyone know where to get it?

Judging by the letters on the steering wheel, you can probably order it from Momo.
