I dont know much about gas defenders but with the image of the high temp and the hole in the hood it seems there is an issue with the heat from that engine....

I would think that with an electric fan, and a thermostat change it would help run a little cooler. If that did not work he could always get a hood scoop.

I sent a message about the temp gauge and this is what I got in return. This guy is clearly an asshole and can't spell.

My message is on the bottom, and his response is above, both in bold.

WOW

And he edited the AD by putting a new pic of the temp gauge.

Dear lynchee,

on the contrary genious, the truck has a 4.6 liter engine and the 4X4 center always drills out the hood for added cooling...this truck has never overheated and the gauge runs in the upper range when idling,I don't need your luck in selling it..besides I doubt you can offford the truck!

Dear spinemdspinemd10,

Overheating issue? In the pic, the needle is in the red.
Good luck with the sale.

I think we should ask the 4x4 center about the holes in the bonnet. No reason on earth why a 4.6 should run hotter than any other Rover V8.

WTF is this guys problem? HA
I think we should all send him a quick message about his temp gauge. By the sounds of it this guy heats up even faster than his 90!

Did anyone snag a shot of the temp gauge when it was showing hot? It would be funny if he got a bunch of emails each with that as an attachment asking him about it.

I bet the guy isn't a 'doctor' at all, but thinks he gets some credibility by impersonating one. Not all physicians are d-bags... just some.

So I just checked my email........He sent me 3 more emails telling me how busy he is performing spine surgery and doesn't have time for my sarcasm. I clearly got under his skin and was only trying to help him out.
Oh well. Here is the link he sent me to the truck

That black D90 to D110 conversion shown on the website lives a few houses down the beach from me. The owner is a retired Doctor, and is totally cool. He even let me drive it out to Great Point. After much time crawling all over it, I can vouch for the 4X4 Center's Work. Exquisite.

Still don't think he has the best D90 on Ebay, though. I may be biased, but I think my one owner, 13k mile, 97 BRG Soft Top blows it away.

Please tell me that someone has sent him the link to this thread. Stroke his ego by saying his truck is being talked about all over the internet.
