Looks almost identical to one we had up here in Mass.

I don't know about the brakes, only their unreliability.

very early td5 still has the old style dash and likely the doors as well. Bet its eating him up to have it worked on. New wiring harness and ecu alone would have run many thousands as the new ecu also had to be programmed to the truck and engine. From the fact that he lists it as a 4cyl, I'm thinking he's not mechanically savvy.

He probably means the injector wiring loom as they are known to leak oil into the ECU and can cause damage to the ECU.

Yes I'm certain he had the oil ingress issue and it worked back and shorted the ecu- thats what I read into it anyway.
