If not we should meet at cars & coffee one Saturday. The event could always use more early Rover products IMO.

Russell - if you are buying a 110, just buy a NAS - it will already come with the cage!

Josh,

If this is the 110 I am thinking of, it served as the donor for a complete rebuild using all new parts. If so, this is the "shell" of the NAS 110, similar to the NAS 110 "shell" parked on the rocks at RSV in RI.

Exactly my thought when I saw the plaque removed, until Russell provided the photo of the plaque...then I thought maybe stuff was just slowly being removed from it in anticipation of a rebuild. You're probably right though.

My next truck I want to be able to wheel it without worrying rolling up tons of miles and pruning the trees ahead, if you know what I mean. I am talking shake 'em up flat grey, Tdi, and no concerns about potential trail rash. No rust though. Gave up playing that losing game 20 years ago.
Side note - I laid down the slab for my shed (cough, cough -- stealthy S1-S2a garage). Just in time before this cold front. Still in the hunt for the right one, but it looks like you are bagging them all!

Dale is that Jason's NAS ? Haven't spoken with Paul in a while and have no idea how our project has progressed.

Hey Doug- Think so, I know the truck was finished and running about the farm land up that way ;-) And running quite well I might add.
Haven't spoken to Paul in a while though, and had to turn down an offer from Jason to run a reenacted CT event coming up soon- similar to his recreated trip across the Sahara in early Jeeps a year ago…
If so, this truck was a bit rusty and very tired- cage should be fine though supports may be rough at best.
Cheers

Cool-guess I need to reach out to Paul and see what plans for the carcass are, remember it being rusty and tired.

Did anyone clarify if this included the $$ pieces under the skin that tie the cage to the frame rails? Would assume so, but the add was not clear.
