sankey trailer wheels

so i got a hold of a 64 sankey trailer that had the axel changed to a newer land rover bolt pattern - i got a set of wheels to fit it but should I bother trying to get the original wheels back on or just sell them? I have no idea what they might be worth 2 have tornel tires on them and one has a firestone i think - also anyone in so cal that has experience in fabrication and welding want to turn my trailer into something trail ready?
