Sankey Army Field Kitchen. ulitmate off expedition off road kitchen

Hello Guys,

I'm selling my families 1985 Sankey Field Kitchen. We just don't use it as much as we would like to as we now have two small kids. It's in amazing shape with excellent chassis. All burners ( 2 ovens and 4 grills work). Had 12 pin NATO plug and all lights work off 12 or 24V. Went through a complete rebuild in 2011 in the UK. Comes will all original cooking tools, new cover, new use propane lines and adaptor. Really an amazing kit.

Hi - this is Derek's wife. I'm the one who actually cooked on this over the years for a LOT of people - military re-enactors, airsoft kids, military vehicle club members, Land Rover club members and family. Two ovens make wonderful roast chicken and roast potatoes (set the temps individually!) and the burners do all the veggies! The four burners are great and you can lay cast iron griddles or even store bought foil trays on top of them to cook what you need to. I have cooked homemade truffle burgers, sweet potatoes, roast potatoes, potato wedges, beans, pork chops, stuffing, roast chicken, broccoli, peas, sweetcorn, dinner rolls and gravy. We have had many excellent meals and I will miss having her.

The temp is adjustable for both ovens and all the burners individually - as is air flow - and there's plenty of storage space for utensils, pans and chopping boards. I tow her behind my Range Rover easily. It also has two large tables (about 5 ft long each) that come with it as they fold into the sides. Two other smaller fold down tables are incorporated into the design. The waterproof cover is very new and in excellent condition. If operating on burners a 20lb propane tank is good, but if you run the ovens use a 40lb tank.

These are VERY rare and looked for two years to find one and then had it fully restored and also maintained annually by a propane specialist.

Serious offers only, $4,500. We can arrange re-paint in military colors at cost if needed. Can also deliver in New England at cost or help arange shipping further out.

Or you could get it...and apply for parade permits when you do an event.......as in pulling two trailers...
I was thinking about it......but sooooooooo far away.

I do pretty well with mine - but this is certainly a step up for block parties, camping, events etc

Really neat. Are those warming racks above the ovens? They thought of everything.

I think they are but will ask my wife. Its an amazing trailer. Took me 3 years to find a working field kitchen. I would not be selling it but Defender sales are super slow so its got to go. Its a lot nicer then any of the american kitchens you will see. She loves doing proper roast dinners with all the fixings on it.

Also lowered price to $3,000. We can help arrange shipping or I can deliver it if your somewhere in the North East.

------ Follow up post added June 18th, 2014 08:50 AM ------

could meet some one from VA like half way.........just saying.
