What does 'ACV $57,150' mean? Actual cash value if fixed?

I'll be in Portland this weekend if anyone needs me to take a look.

That's interesting. Freeman Motor Company was selling it in the $30k range before it was wrecked.

Could someone explain how insurance paid out $57k for this D-90? Thinking we should all print this listing and file it away should we find ourselves needing to call our insurance for a loss. Interesting that someone (PO?) took the cage, rack, and wolfs. How did he forget the rear step bumper, 3rd brake light, etc... ?
Note that it was stolen too. How prevalent are Defender thefts these days? I can think of only 3 or 4 mentioned on these threads.

especially since the insurer is state farm. they don't do replacement value/agreed upon value policies, only estimated value. so they would have had to replace this at the depreciated value.

very interesting indeed.

Since it was stolen, its possible/likely that all the goods were removed by the thief and not recovered. Shayne probably has all that junk in his garage, bought from some yard sale he drove by.

Items were pulled later. It would be interesting if they have already been peddled w/in these forums.
