Land Rover NAS Defender 90. Body, paint, engine , trans, 4wd and interior in very good shape. Frame has significant rust from being up North and needs weld repair or replacement. Purchased with Salvage title due to frame inspection. Has SC Title. Have purchased new tube side step rails and rear cross member tube hitch. This is an excellent NAS D90 project which can be driven as is with weld repair and sandblasting or full frame replacement to have a nice vehicle. Wow never heard of a truck being titled as a salvage because of the frame. Is that legit? Jeff can you buy it and put it on a galvy so I can use yours in Maine?

Is it worth the price? I'm sure a salvage title permanently decreases the value even thought a new chassis would completely solve the problem, but by how much?

If the frame is that shot - I guess the bulk head will be suitably rotten, and the body mounts, probably the doors ...

yeah no way this is worth the trouble. If it was a ST it would be for the cage but this thing should be stripped and that is it

talked with him two days ago, hope to look at it this w/e, but probably not worth the effort d/t the title, UNLESS it could be reversed to clear with a new frame. Chatting with DMV.... Also, assuming lots of rust otherwise...
