Interesting diesel motor/tranny/tcase on ebay. I've never seen one of these for the rover come up for sale.

That's effin UGGly. Rust and grunge galore. I bet he paid very very little for it. Why would anyone go to the trouble of putting such a hideous lump in without cleaning it up A LOT.

That is called capitalism Bill! ... you could say the same for any RHD LR's that get imported too...people pay less over there, and sell them for more here...I really don't have a problem with that.

As far as aesthetics, some Purple Power and a steam cleaner - voila!

Personally, I would consider it if it was East Coast - be a great thing to get an old RRC and transform it. These were awesome engines.

Looks like some one imported an all original truck and is wisely selling the original lump. These don't have a good reputation. Read up on them before bidding. Wouldn't want to have try and find parts for that here.

Had one of these in my 76 RR 2 door "now thats the classic". took out a perkins 4.203 to fit that lump of shite in. it ran good but no power, then I found the 5 cylinder was better But the maintance was a pain with each seperate cylinder head.

DON'T do it
