Jesus...you're in FL, how'd you pull that off! If you need a place to store it (or someone to retrieve it) I'm heading to our place in NY this week - a roadtrip away from NH. Of course, the caveat is that I will then PayPal you $300 and you'll never get the sign.

Slight detour back to the shop..head off to alaska and beyond in the middle of next week.. that trip makes this sign purchase silly but I simply had to have it since its the old style logo..will have to rewire it for Australia lighting but oh well... just hope it survives the shipping..

------ Follow up post added June 27th, 2012 10:05 PM ------

did 6000 miles in the lower section of the USA during Overland Expo.. was going to go south through Mexico to baja etc but its too stinking hot here...really liked the weather in the centre of the USA and north... will go through mexico and South America when we ship back into Alaska from Russia to make Overland Expo 2013..also wanted to miss the school summer vacation time in national parks but will have to deal with it by the looks of it..

I will have my spot locator device constantly on and linked through our website at YoungRovers.com and The-Long-Way-Home.com.. youngrovers is in its very rudimentary stages at the moment and i think the long way site is going to be more of a blog format..having to learn how to do all of this in my spare time I am not trolling these sites for things I shouldn't be buying..LOL...always open to invitations of beers...LOL..now just trying to figure out how to mount this sign on the roof of the camel...if I plug it into the invertor and mount it on a rotating base...Hmmm..

If the sign gets bashed in transit you're going to be pissed at yourself that you didn't let me grab it! I'm driving distance from NH .

For the record I am not joking. I will literally drive to NH to get it for "safe keeping".

My wifes parents are in their lake house at the moment in Meredith NH, I think the guy said he may be going up there to the lake this weekend or next as well and can deliver it to them..or I can pick it up when I go through there in about 4-6 weeks time... I have all of my toys that are going back to Aust in my storage place down here in Florida so I may just have it shipped down here as I would need it to go in the container with my other stuff anyways..will make a great outside or inside sign when I open my shop back home in Australia..or just one kick ass garage light..

Wait. What the fuck. Are you moving to Australia? Like, permanently? Is it because of Obamacare?

Dude...I will still love ya..long distance relationships CAn work..LOL.. this was just a stopover on a round the world working holiday (stopped in Florida in the beginning of december after leaving freaking cold England and while waiting for my car to arrive from England so I could travel across to a job I had lined up at Rolls Royce of Beverly Hills. thought I might hang out here for a month or two...yeah right..).... 22 years ago.. since then, marriage, 2 beautiful girls and another one...one divorce and another marriage, and alot of fun times, .. but my parents are getting old, father's cancer has come back and he's given 6 months to live.. need to go home and take care of my parents and give my children the opportunity to see some other parts of the world before they get "settled" into their lives here in the USA...and yes...obamacare and its other folowing items and agendas scares the crop out of me...

Sorry to hear about your dad, that is definitely understandable that you want to go back and spend some time with him. It's just that I knew you were doing an around-the-world trip...just didn't know it would terminate in Australia. Always thought one of these days I'd pack up the D and head south on a roadtrip and stop in and see you and Stephen Peters! Looks like I'll have to make the trek all the way to the outback...

Heck I'm glad didn't see this. 45 mins away could have had it installed in my Garage before you've even packed it!

I'm always keeping an eye out for a green one for the garage. If you guys know of one available. Just missed out on the last several that were mentioned. (Ones at a reasonable price, anyway.)
