Red '97 (Sandy flood truck)

Didn't this truck cause a bit of a stir a few weeks ago?

That's a bummer! Looks like it was a nice truck owned by an enthusiast before.
That's a heck of a lot of WD-40 they sprayed on the frame (I wonder if that actually helped halt any accelerated corrosion)
I like how the seller mentions "no salt water was found inside the engine" as if to suggest it was a fresh water flood.
Any guesses on what buys it? $8,000- $10,000?

Interesting- wish there were more pics of the frame. Thinking of taking a crack at this one...

It was getting to the take apart and rebuild stage judging by the hole in the bulkhead.
ECR should pick it up and rebuild

I might see if I can get a look next week. That bulkhead hole is worrisome but if it's cheap enough...who knows.

There's no value here. It will cost more than it will be worth to fix it.

I suspect it doesn't have one. But seller needs to be clear on this.

That's incredible for a salvage/storm truck!
I see that the seller is a D-90 member, so I wish him the best

A member is representing the seller, I don't think it's his truck.

$17k for a Land Rover submarine. Pretty impressive.

I know of a white 95 wagon that was flooded from the storm. Owner is looking for a new truck so I assume it will be listed on copart soon.

My guess the title will be "cleaned" as with the rest of the truck and Josh will find it for sale at $36k in a few months.
