Talked with the guy again today, he called me. Seems that the truck is not running but he had taken a bunch of pictures to send around. I haven't got them from him yet? I told him that if anybody was going to take him serious, he would have to let people take a look at it. I hope that one of you guys can take a look.

He sent me pictures at full resolution. It took for ever to download them. At any rate I shrunk them up a little to make it easier for us slow speed internet guys. He told me he took 30 plus pictures but could only send 5 at a time.

He called me back today. Man he is a strange guy. He said he had lots of offers but nobody bought it yet...wants anything from 25,000 to 35,000 but really doesn't need to sell it... then he told me if he was to sell, it would be cash only. He said one guy was about to give him a check and another was going to wire the money to his bank account but He didn't want it.

The truck seems ok and from what he said, besides the fuel tank and ignition might be broken.

He is the one that seems fishy, not the truck.

Someone needs to drive up there with 25k in cash. If this thing is structurally sounds Im not sure how you go wrong at that price.

You fools made him think he has more value in it than he originally thought. I say go up with cash or let him cool for a bit and he'll change his tune. Just stop fueling him!

So funny he only wants cash. When I got my 110. I had been working with the seller for a few weeks. I told him that I would bring a bank check the day I bought it. No problem with that. I give him the check and his wife out of nowhere is like I have never heard of this bank USAA. Such a dope. Thought I made it up.

I had to google USAA to find out what it was ...

Send 5 people to look at it that don't want it ... get them all to walk away saying it's piece of shit and much worse condition than they thought and requires too much money invested to restore.

Then take a vial of crack and a stack of $50's for about $20K and wave it in his face.

I'd probably also take some large friends as insurance to make sure I didn't get robbed ...

I'll see if I can make the trip with the Cash this weekend.
As far as getting robbed, I'll just take my 2 best friends Heckler and Koch

And a flatbed to take away the body ... I mean 110!

Best of luck ... would be nice to see someone get this that really wanted one!

As for living in the city ... I feel safe here ... it's when I leave I get nervous with all the people carrying weapons!

Maybe both, but then the 110 will be a lot cheaper

We don't carry weapons, they are just friends, always available to stop an injustice

Josh,

Thanks for the offer.

I do believe this guy needs to see a briefcase openning in his face with 20 large in $ 20.00 denomination and politely ask him " do you need a pen to sign the Title? " as you signal the Tow truck to load it up *LOL*

New York is very, very gun unfriendly, worse than Maryland. Enjoy your year in state pen if you get caught with it.

Question: are any of you guys on here talking to this guy daily? The reason I am asking is b/c I am and I dont want any of us to be stuck in some sort of bidding war where we drive the price up on each other. He said he is talking to a guy who owns a dealership but wants this to complete his collection, so I dont know if it is some sort of dealership that will sell it for 4x this price or a true collector. Just figured I would ask so we may be able to help each other out. If you want to PM me instead of putting any info on here thats cool too. Thanks for your help and hopefully one of us get a good deal.
