You need to talk to Steve (d90user)... He went to south America and back in a Tdi Ambulance. Josh and I got a chance to check it out when he was gracious enough to give us a glow plug during our Alaska adventure... truly an awesome rig.

Steve hadn't yet converted to the ambulance set-up when he went on that adventure, right? I thought he went to SA when his truck was in the original 110 configuration. I also saw his ambulance though -- super nice.

How do you not even mention the Judge Dredd truck for sale? Lots of neat trucks at that place.

WOW- that is a good one... feeling a tad jealous. Looks like a 110. I really like the 130 ones.
One thing to think about for travel though is that I don think that would fit in a container, height wise. May not be a concern for some, but that is a big one for us.

Tom- your right, we still had it as a 5 door.... it was the experience of living in that for a year that drove the ambu conversion.

Someone shout bring that beast over!

Another 110 just sold on EBay UK for 4900GBP. These are the same height as my Hi Top ambulance. You can load them in a standard container if you air down the tyres. A lot. I like the added width of them, and with a flat roof, an easy lift up cap for stand up height inside. Very cool
