Pappy 20 two bottles $1000 each

I did not realize how high the market had driven the price. They even have the red cover. About 4-5 years old so from the prior batch. Stored in a cool, dry place.

Cheapest online is $1500. Wine sells for much more and since I can't drink anymore because of gout they don't do me much good.

Well with prices like this it could be a solid investment, it can't go down in price

Here you go. One does not have the hang tag. Both have the velvet bag. Only for sale where legal.

If it makes people feel better (or worse) I must have drank 30 bottles of this stuff over the years.

Ron, I sent an email to a law school classmate of mine who is a self professed bourbon connoisseur. He's Marine Corps JAG and has quite the collection in his "bourbon library". I wouldn't be surprised if he drops you a line.

Not a ding against you or anything Ron, but how can you tell these aren't fakes? I know some wineries have microchips embedded in the labels and/or corks.

Well, I bought them from a well known liquor store 4-5 years ago before the craze really kicked in so I know they are legit. Plus, the other bottles I bought at the same time all tasted like Pappy (which I have had at numerous bars as well as at home and has a unique flavor).

This is the USA, not some country where we have to assume everything is counterfeit until proven otherwise.

So true, and amazing that even in your own small town, one can buy luxury merchandise right on the street corner. What a country!
