Orvis 109" Series IIa

Was perusing the Orvis website this evening and came across this, a restored 1962 109" Series IIa, a snip at $125,000. It is a really nice 109 though....

I'd buy it.

If there was a Land Rover division in this year's Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

Another great resto by Lanny Clark
A friend of mine runs a land rover / range rover specialty repair shop. Based on his experience, they are capable of stopping anywhere, anytime, at any cost.

I don't know about the brakes, only their unreliability.

I guess this is another one. IIRC the one from a few years ago they were selling had free-wheel hubs on it.

Id rather that FJ55 tucked off to the side. At least I know that there arent that many of those left.

I have seen this truck in person twice, it is pristine. Lanny truly does amazing work, and this is no exception.
