What's the deal with D90 prices lately? Seems like values are starting to slowly creep South. (Not that I care- no plans on selling!)

Only occasionally. I think you see some going lower, because the condition - rust, body, etc. are beginning to show a fair amount of age at this point. The ones that are still clean are still demanding a good amount. Without knowing the VIN or the chassis condition, this otherwise looks like a very complete truck with A/C, rear bench, no door cards (but that's easy to replace via user Backstay), with under 100k miles, for a fair price under $20k.

Funny how they couldn't just put that in the ad - would probably save them a ton of time and responses if they were more upfront in the ad.

Ha! My friend and neighbor owns a Ford dealership. He took in a 1994 with low miles, but Chicago rust underneath and sold it for $40K.

That is not creeping south, considering another neighbor had a Japanese 1997 last year that was vastly better than this 1994, and he overpaid (at the time) at 45K...

All about your own perception of the marketplace.

Without a doubt- people are still paying astronomical prices for these trucks; the supply is low enough and the demand is still there. But, lately I've seen more clean titled ~$20k NAS's than in recent years. I think Josh pointed out the answer- these trucks are aging, and with age- damage. I think it's causing a more distinct bell curve in market values.

Dealer prices are always higher and no matter how shitty a truck people think if a dealer has it, it is worth more.

If this truck had a clean title than 17500 would have been a steal.

Picked it up on Monday. Went through it that night. Paint isn't great, but mechanically it's in good shape. Fixed the wobbling.....rear wheel was mounted incorrectly. She was pretty oblivious to the whole thing. She gave me the pictures of the accident. Not that bad. The rear passenger side quarter panel was damanged and a small crack in the plastic around the roll cage. I'll post up the pictures when I get back home tonight. My next door neighbor wanted one so I think we're going to have a SW and ST, both green, right next door to each other!

Wasn't she asking around $20k for it originally? Sounds like a good deal?
