New XCL's on craigslist

Someone posted this on another forum, but in Washington, there are some new XCL and ugly alloy wheels. I figure someone with a CT truck might need them:

Those things go through anything. And sound like thousands of wasps under your truck at 90mph (I don't recommend this)

Seriously.
And furthermore, is old Michelin rubber trustworthy?
I threw away a set of Michelin-somethings that were under my Ford Excursion...they were 8 years old and the sidewalls were cracking to pieces.
Still had plenty of tread.

They were making them last I knew up till 2008.

Old Michelin rubber is great. That new crap is terrible after they bought out BFG. I think the US gets BFG rubber compound on the new Michelin tires here while Europe still get thats older good stuff... like they do with most stuff.

Mine were from the 80s with serious cracks in them but held up great.

Aren't XCL tube tires? So at least they'd hold air.
