Humm, if he owned it 4 years ago, that truck would have been only been 23 years old. Maybe Ban Ki-moon has a place out on the Cape?

1986 Land Rover Defender 110 - $25900 (Nantucket)

This is an X-Nato Left Hand Drive Defender 2 door soft top. It has the 2.5 normally aspirated diesel engine. I have owned it for four years and used it as a summer toy on the South Shore and Nantucket. It has been stored winters and has been waxoiled. No expense has been spared on sorting the mechanicals to make it a great driving, reliable vehicle. It has a new 5 speed transmission and 1.4 transfer case, as well as many other items. The vehicle is a blast to drive and will go 65mph on the highway. It is very simple and rustic . It has no amenities what-so-ever. None. Zip. It also has a crude old military paint job, but I like it that way. Makes for a perfect beach runner, ice cream getter, kayak carrier, etc. I have a large Defender Collection, but this is my very favorite one to drive, and is worth every penny. Please call my cell if interested. 954-816-8885.

If this is the favorite of his large Defender collection, why's he selling it??

good question.. I usually get rid of the stuff I like the least.

This may be the wife's least favorite? In which case the sale is just sad sad..

Like to see him try 65mph on Nantucket!
