NAS 110 with 2.8TGV

Anyone know this truck? Seems like a fairly decent deal depending on actual condition:

Yup used to belong to a former member here Peter Carey. He sold it last year or so ago here in WA - looks like it's in CA now. Unfortunately don't know much more than that.

I've seen those photos many times over the past couple years - just seems odd. The ad does mention Pendy, though.

Who puts a 2.8 in a truck and doesn't take photos of it?

Haha oh yeah I forgot to mention that...way to post pics of all the glamour shots you've taken across the country, but no pics of typical rust-prone areas, engine/under the hood, etc.

Yeah, true. But new questions for everyone:

A. Would an accident/rebuild on a NAS 110 significantly depreciate value (i.e. to 40k or less)? Let's assume the repairs were solid.
2. Would a diesel upgrade hurt/help the value of a NAS 110 (seems to go both ways)?
D. Do title problems really affect NAS 110s, given the supply vs. demand? And that many will probably be rebuilt anyway?

The truck being in California but being registered in Oregon is a bit of a red flag to me (as a Californian)

I personally think that truck is an example of mods (including diesel conversion with no photos) that de-value a truck. But if you want all that stuff, then it... adds value!

I also think title problems will always affect a vehicle it is one thing ECR cannot fix or galvanize.

I emailed the seller a few days ago and just got a response stating that he was "out of the country" and would try to email me additional images once he returns in about a week
