Please contact Jonathon via the email address if you are interested in the 110. This 110 is not owned by ECR (or for sale by ECR), we just thought it might help his chances of selling it if we posted it for him. Thanks.

Orange (again)?
#61 is a 110 I have known since around 1998 and when I first saw it in 1998 it had original white paint.

jonathon painted kermit's salvaged NAS 110 orange a couple of years ago and the miles also miraculously changed.

Understood and YIKES!

This 110 showed 92K roughy, just so everyone knows.

Looks like 61/500 is SALDH1286PA918030 for reference.

Engine oil line fire cooked it.

We have been slowly putting it back together over the years with used parts as a shop project (haven't come up with a good used 60/40 it yet), but then decided to sell it.

Jonathon bought it as a project for restoration, but now he is moving on as well.

The big parts are there. Still needs some parts and assembly love. Doors we put on should be replaced. We just put them on to keep the rain out.

Don't let the wiring mess in the images scare you. That is a bunch of auxilary light wiring that we never sorted (you could remove all that if you wanted). I already hooked up the main harness to all the dash and body the way it should be. The EFI harness needs to be run into the cabin and hooked up to the ECU, but all that is there.

Should also note that the original 92K speedo got cooked and we put a used dash cluster in it that has roughly 60K on it (as that kinda matched the miles on the used 3.9 engine we put in). This was noted on all the sale paperwork, but just wanted to be clear in case someone is having a day-dream... this is not a 60K original mile truck. It is a truck we have roughly screwed together with used parts.

Yes it looks much better with the 1000 parts we threw at it over the last few years.

This was to be my own 110, but I gave up on it after we did our first Puma dash (because now I want one with a Puma dash now).

So I sold #61 and bought salvage #155 to rebuild as a Puma dash with an LS3. Hopefully it won't take me as many years to get that together as it did this one (and I didn't even finish this one).

Did jonathon ever sell this or did that deal fall through? I see it referenced over here so figured it must still be on the lot since it's also listed in your for sale section:

We bought it back from him because it was 20 questions all the time due to the salvage title and all the newbies he wanted to sell it to. He originally bought it to do a restoration project on, but then backed out. So it was easier to just buy it back and sell it ourselves, or we will use it for a project down the road if no one wants it.

Heard he'd been very firm at $30k - I see it's at $25k now so I guess he wasn't all that firm at $30k afterall.

Curious if someone could lay out the rough economics on a situation like this:

$25k (Carcass w/ salvage title)
$XX to make it usable
$XX to make it actually nice

What it is actually worth once you're done

My guess is its $50k to the finish line and you end up with something worth maybe $60?

I wouldn't think of a salvage truck as an investment instrument. But I'm sure that putting $50k into it after buying it would certainly make it worth more than what it is currently "worth".
