Why are these cages listed as "rare" or "hard to find"???

Otherwise you can take a part off one and put it on the other.

Just boggles the mind that someone might pay 2K for that that will need powder coating, has no hardware, no under truck brackets and no interior hoop when for not much more you get the entire thing new in a crate ready to go on.

Bondage rack ....

edit: it has the interior hoop it is shown in another picture. At 2k it is not much of a deal, but if one were being silly and wanted to galvanize a 110 cage this might even be a deal at 2k as opposed to trying to remove the uber-powdercoating on the SD cages.

How much is a new NAS 110 cage? I emailed you twice requesting pricing, but haven't heard back yet. Thanks.

I think SD is OUT of business again so in that case it is "rare" or "hard to find" unless ECR has a stock pile of these cages.

ron good idea galvainize one.

Now why would you go trying to spread rumors like that that have no basis in any reality.

As of May 2010 Safety Devices is fully in business and doing great. We just unloaded a 40' container of new production SD cages last Tuesday and we are building our order for the next container now. I speak with Chris and Gavin from SD on a weekly (at least) basis and not only are they in business, we are developing new products together that will hit the US market soon. One such new product will be shown at Billings in the UK this summer.

SD 110 cages (or any other SD cage (other than the NLA rubber coated NAS soft top cages)) are readily available (and as new production, not as old stock stock piles)

A complete NAS 110 exo-cage kit goes outta ECR retail at below 3500. brand new for the entire kit (cage, bolts, supports, etc crated and ready to ship in black powder coat). Normally we stock them, but they have been popular in South America and we are sold out until the next load.

Got your facts right, or at least try to check them, before you post. One call or email to ECR or Safety Devices would have given you the correct information.

I have answered all requests I get for cages (unless you sent a request over the weekend then you'll have to wait until Monday when people are back in the shop).
If you did not get a reply check your spam filters or call Holly at the shop 207-594-8068 during business hours.

They stopped production for a while when the owner died and moved production to poland (I think, Mike will correct me if I am wrong), but they are very much back in business.

Might be a good time to buy given the weakness of the pound to the dollar, but you have to check with Mike for pricing. I thought it very fair.

Production was moved to Poland long before Tony Falls death.

Polish production is only of certain products. Some are made there, some are made in the UK.
Having installed cages made by both facilities I an tell you the quality is the same and each part is checked in the UK prior to any shipping (nothing leaves directly from Poland).

There was a slight slow down after Tony's death, but that was to be expected when any company leader dies. New management and investors are now in place and IMO the business is in the best shape it has been in a long time.

The failed "Safety Devices North America" venture is now completely dissolved and ECR is the sole USA supplier for all 4x4 Safety Devices products and parts in North America.

We have already developed one "NAS 90 only" exo cage by working directly with SD and other NAS products are coming soon.

The new management working directly with ECR was the one and only reason the NAS 90 roof racks came back in limited numbers.

The SD guys are now more on track than ever. Anything said otherwise is completely incorrect.

Just ask my guys how many huge crates of SD cages they just had to unload on Tuesday. ;-)

Are you shipping cages over here?? I guess Brasil (or Chile) may be getting some of those but none to Argentina...
