not worth it to me at that price... I'm getting much more enjoyment out of the LS converted ROW truck… the NAS always felt under powered.. Not a great truck but certainly a nice rate of appreciation.

For 55k I'd expect a straight front bumper...

The bumper is bent and the brush guard looks twisted.
The rear ladder looks pushed in a little and the lock surrounds are missing on least one door.
For 55k a least do those small things.

John, I ended up bidding on it after my PM with you. Thanks for sharing your opinion. I didn't win the bid but I thought that the price was a little high based on miles and condition. I saw more detailed photos - the back doors have paint bubbling at the bottom. I pointed this out and the response was that aluminum doesn't rust, well okay but the frames do. The carpets are worn and torn and yes the seats reflect 144,000 miles of seat time. i don't know why you can't replace the rusty screws on the diamondplate if your trying to get top dollar so what else hasn't been done. Funny, they said the truck spent most of its life in Malibu.

the truck was a solid daily driver but had typical issues like the ones you describe 50k miles ago so clearly they weren't addressed. It was never in Malibu that I know of. I kept it in the parking garage of my office in Venice and eventually sent it to Maine..It had the stock interior and steel wheels when i sold it along with an arb bumper and winch, stock safari rack. Previous owners were in WA and OR. Personally that seems like a big number for a truck with almost 150k miles on it thats never been restored.

And to think I saved a 1993 110 from rolling backward from the middle of Greek Peak at a Rover event so many years ago.... The driver left the truck facing uphill and did not put the parking brake on. It was inching ever so slowly down the hill when I opened the door and pulled the brake handle up. Come to find out the driver left it in 3rd instead of 1st. Do I have some Land Rover Karma points hidden somewhere?

If I didn't jump to action, maybe the 110 would not have picked up any momentum, rolled down the hill and crashed spectacularly while devoid of a driver—I like to think i saved from a horrible death—just sayin.

Sorry to have cost some of you guys some value. One less 110 would have increased demand even more.

I sold this truck through land rover Nashville to a local client that had the seats, carpet, Hannibal rack and awning installed.. It is a great truck I drove it several miles while we had it... Where is it headed to?
